Film: Bridesmaids (2011)

During our work trip this past weekend, Lisa and I took a little break and saw Bridesmaids. We'd been hearing mixed reviews, but we love Kristen Wiig so decided to check the film out for ourselves. Well, we loved it! It's hilarious, sweet and even touching. Yes, it's a little long (125 minutes!), but there are some really funny scenes that keep the film moving.

The film follows "Annie (Kristen Wiig), a maid of honor whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), and a group of colorful bridesmaids on a wild ride down the road to matrimony".

Original, funny + entertaining, if you haven't yet, go see!... Bridesmaids

I loved this movie. I'm so glad you did too. While there are some vulgar scenes it really is about friendship and personal growth.

Yeah, definitely had some shocking scenes! But I'm glad to see women's comedies like this that aren't just about women in manhattan teetering around in manolos! i think my fave performance was by Melissa McCarthy!
